TLC Dog Walkers’ Code of Ethics

For All TLC-Recognised Dog Walkers

At TLC Dog Walking, our mission is built on three core values: Trust, Loyalty, and Care.
We believe every dog deserves respect, understanding, and kindness — and every walker who represents TLC shares in this ethical responsibility.

This Code of Ethics sets out the guiding principles and moral standards that underpin all our work.


It reflects not only what we do, but who we are as a compassionate and professional community.

1. Respect for All Animals

We treat every dog as an individual with unique needs, emotions, and experiences.
We will never use fear, pain, or punishment to control behaviour.
We are patient, empathetic, and always prioritise each animal’s physical and emotional welfare.

2. Commitment to Kindness

We believe in the power of positive reinforcement and calm communication.
Kindness is at the heart of all interactions — with dogs, clients, colleagues, and the community.

If a problem arises, we address it directly, calmly, and respectfully.
We never misrepresent our experience, training, or the dogs’ behaviour.

We represent TLC with pride and responsibility.
We act with professionalism in every situation — on walks, with clients, and online.
We support colleagues and uphold TLC’s reputation as a safe, kind, and trusted service.

We recognise that dog care and training are ever-evolving fields.
