The Professional Dog Walker Programme
Become a Confident, Skilled & Trusted Dog Walker
You don’t need more time to “think about it”.
You need the skills to do this properly — before something goes wrong.
Let’s Be Honest
Dog walking is one of the fastest‑growing industries in the UK.
It’s also one of the least prepared.
Most people starting out are:
guessing
learning through mistakes
hoping nothing goes wrong
And eventually…
Something does.
A dog slips a lead. A situation escalates. A client loses trust.
By the time most people look for training, they’re already dealing with a problem they could have avoided.
Don’t Learn This the Hard Way
You could:
piece things together from free advice
figure it out as you go
learn through stressful (and entirely avoidable) situations
Or…
You could learn how to do this properly from the start.
What This Programme Actually Does
The Professional Dog Walker Programme is designed to take you from:
Second‑guessing, hoping for the best, quietly panicking when things feel unpredictable
To:
Calm, confident, and in control — even when real life throws something at you.
Because real life always does.
Imagine This Instead
You’re walking a group of dogs.
One starts getting overstimulated. Another is uneasy about a passing dog. A distraction appears out of nowhere.
Instead of reacting…
You notice the signs early. You adjust calmly. You keep every dog safe.
That’s not luck. That’s skill.
What You’ll Learn (And Why It Matters)
This isn’t theory you’ll “use one day”.
This is what you need before your next walk.
Dog Behaviour & Body Language
Because problems never start at full volume.
Spot early warning signs
Understand dog‑to‑dog interactions
Prevent issues before they escalate
Safety, Handling & Group Walks
This is where mistakes become serious.
Walk multiple dogs safely
Stay in control when things get unpredictable
Manage risk properly
Real‑World Walking Skills
Because dogs don’t read textbooks.
Structure calm, controlled walks
Manage distractions in real environments
Create safer, better experiences
Scenario‑Based Training
So you’re never standing there thinking, “What do I do now?”
Dog slips a lead
Group tension rises
A reactive dog approaches
You’ll already know how to respond.
Clients, Legal & Business
Because doing this “properly” actually matters.
Set clear expectations
Protect yourself legally
Build a service people trust
Why Timing Matters
Every walk you do without proper knowledge is a risk.
Not just to you — but to:
the dogs in your care
your reputation
the business you’re trying to build
The longer you wait, the more chances there are for something to go wrong.
Investment: £499
Which is less than:
losing a couple of clients
one serious incident
months of undercharging because you lack confidence
This isn’t just a course.
It’s preparation, protection, and a clear way forward.
Confidence Guarantee
Start the programme and complete the first module.
If you don’t already feel more confident, you don’t continue.
No drama. No arguments.
Limited Enrolment
This programme isn’t always open.
To maintain quality and proper support, only a limited number of people can join each intake.
Once it’s full, it closes.
Your Next Step
You can keep figuring it out as you go and hope everything works out.
Or you can learn how to do this properly, safely, and professionally.
Don’t leave it “until later”.
Because “later” often turns into:
avoidable mistakes
missed opportunities
or learning the hard way
Join the Professional Dog Walker Programme
And build a career you feel genuinely confident in —before you need to rely on it.
About Tori Lynn C. & The Dog House
Welcome to The Dog House — my cosy corner of the TLC Canine Crusaders Business Hub. Kettle on, muddy boots accepted.
I’m Tori Lynn C., founder of TLC Dog Walking Limited, mentor to professional dog walkers, and lifelong advocate for dogs and the people trying to run businesses without losing their sanity.
Before I built my own dog walking company, I worked as a dog trainer and spent time in corporate roles at Pizza Hut’s Head Office in London and PricewaterhouseCoopers at Embankment Place. So while I now spend more time in wellies than heels, business structure, systems, and people management have been part of my life for a very long time.
I’ve been hands‑on and full‑time in the dog industry since 2007, and my mission is simple: to help you run a successful, sustainable dog walking business — without burning out, cutting corners, or lying awake at 2am replaying awkward client conversations.
What You’ll Find in The Dog House
The Dog House is where we talk about the bits people usually gloss over.
The awkward moments. The “well, that didn’t go to plan” days. The business lessons you normally only learn after a mild meltdown and a strong cup of coffee.
It’s also where we talk about confidence, boundaries, wellbeing, and how to build a business that actually works with your real life — not an Instagram‑filtered version of it.
Whether you’re just starting out or already established and thinking, “There has to be a calmer way to do this”, you’ll find honest guidance, practical support, and the occasional friendly nudge (not a shove) in the right direction.
No fluff. No shortcuts. No pretending this is easy all the time.
And most importantly — you’re not doing this on your own.
You’re part of a community of Canine Crusaders who care about doing the work properly, treating dogs well, and building businesses they actually want to keep.
